Matt Reid
Counsellor BA(Hons) MBACP
Do you suffer from anxiety? Feel depressed or struggle with unwanted emotions? I have helped a lot of people struggling with life and its many pressures and demands. I could also help you find
a way forward with what may feel like impossible problems. I have worked with clients mainly in a general service, encountering all sorts of problems and have also practiced in an addictions setting and a bereavement service.
As human beings we are essentially relational and the exploration of relationships in a person's life is the focus of the work I do. This can be troubling, fascinating, helpful, illuminating and deeply profound or all of these at different times. It is not an easy commitment but then nothing worthwhile ever really is.
The most important thing is the development of a therapeutic relationship that aids you the client to develop, heal and grow. I work from your expressed wishes with you to find the best way forward for you. I hope that we may soon work together.
