Non-Obese Report Better Mood, Libido after Dieting

slimA clinical trial involving two groups of either healthy weight individuals or mildly overweight people had them put through a calorie restricted diet over a period of two years.

According to Corby Martin, the lead author, the study participants on average lost seventeen pounds and reported a significant improvement in quality of life. The positive changes were also seen in the relatively healthy group as well.

Biological changes associated with weight loss are better blood pressure, lower blood sugar and improved cholesterol. People who lose weight are more likely to feel happier, healthier, and more satisfied with their appearance and even sexier.

Through dieting people can improve their overall health, stress levels, mood, and sex drive even though they were not obese.
