In most cases, cold hands and feet are a sign of Raynaud’s disease which is a benign condition that leads to extreme constriction of blood vessels in the fingers and the toes. In this case, the vessels constrict suddenly and slam shut as opposed to the normal constriction that is a healthy response that preserves core body temperature.
