Middle-Age Fitness Helps Ward off Stroke Later

excercisesA new study shows that physical fitness in middle age will help lower the risk of stroke after age 65.

Incorporating an exercise routine that includes activities such as strengthen training and conditioning and aerobic exercises is absolutely necessary.

The researchers indicated that beneficial effects of physical fitness persisted even after adjusting for risk factors such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and atrial fibrillation. These findings recommend that low fitness levels are also considered a risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
