This is owing to the fact that they cannot cope with the toxic side effects of radiation and chemotherapy.

Nutrition is extremely crucial in cancer treatment. Doctors advise that patients should consult a nutritionist to have a diet plan while undergoing and after cancer treatment. Both cancer and its treatment will affect the ability to digest food nutrients, the tolerance to certain foods and will lower appetite. Cancer treatments lead to vitamin D, folic acid, vitamin B12, iron and zinc deficiencies.
