A new study indicates that aging Americans seeking to maintain a healthy brain should switch from using the elevators to using the stairs. Fitness is the most important factor to sharper minds in old age. Additionally, the older people can also spend time studying and reading to benefit their brains. The study found that physical brain age was nearly one year lower for each year of education an individual had.
