Higher levels of physical activity have been shown to reduce rates of stroke, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and a host of other chronic health conditions.

The habits people develop in the first half of their lives determine well-being and freedom from chronic diseases in the second half of our lives. Simple actions such as walking, cycling, joining a gym or any other moderate activity could be enough to reduce the risk of heart disease.
