Alzheimer’s: New Drug That Halts Mental Decline Is ‘Best News for Dementia in 25 Years’

SONY DSCAlzheimer’s disease is the most common kind of dementia. The exact cause of Alzheimer’s is not known. Scientists have been unable to come up with a drug that cures the disease despite more than 400 drug trials. However, an exciting new drug looks very promising.

Key takeaways:

  • The breakthrough is the best news for Alzheimer’s patients in more than 25 years.
